At Spirit and Truth Fellowship, we are committed to upholding the truth of God’s Word, living by faith in Jesus Christ, and being led by the Holy Spirit. Our doctrine is rooted in the Scriptures, emphasizing the teachings of Jesus Christ, the necessity of being Born Again, Baptism, and the inspired teachings of the New Testament authors.
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). It is the ultimate guide for faith and life.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven. He is the only way to salvation (John 14:6, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace and cannot be earned by works. It is received through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, and being Born Again (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:3-7).
We believe in water baptism by immersion as an act of obedience to Christ’s command. Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus and symbolizes dying to sin and rising to new life in Him (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:3-4).
We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live a holy life and manifest the gifts and fruit of the Spirit (Acts 1:8, Galatians 5:22-23).
We recognize the teachings of Lord Jesus Christ along with the writings of Apostle Paul and the New Testament authors, as divinely inspired and foundational to understanding the Gospel of Grace, Christian living, and the Church (2 Timothy 1:13, Romans 1:16-17).
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all true believers. We gather for worship, teaching, fellowship, and the spreading of the Gospel (Ephesians 4:11-16, Acts 2:42-47).
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, when He will establish His kingdom, judge the living and the dead, and bring eternal life to those who are His (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 22:12).
We believe in heaven as the eternal home for all who believe in Christ and hell as eternal separation from God for those who reject Him (John 3:16, Matthew 25:46).
